Ancient City (Muang Boran)
Another pavilion, the City Sala, is traditionally built by the townspeople. The pavilion is normally constructed within the city walls to serve as a meeting hall where the townspeople could congregate and participate in merit-making activities.
The City Sala at Ancient city is modeled after an ancient pavilion at Wat Yai Intharam in Chonburi. (also known as King Taksin the Great) once rested here with royal troops and he used this place to judge the fault of Nai Thongyu Noklek.
