Talat Nam Yam Yen Amphawa is one of the most famous afternoon Floating markets in Thailand. It is located near Wat amphawan chetiyaram in Samut Songkhram province, 65 km from Bangkok.

On Friday, Saturday and Sunday, during 12.00 a.m. – 8.00 p.m., the Amphawa Canal would be crowned by vendors selling food and drinks, such as seafood, fried clams, Pad Thai, Thai desserts, fruit, coffee, O-liang (iced black coffee), sweets, etc., which can be purchased from the vendors on the boat. Visitors can take a cruise along the Mae Klong River and enjoy the peaceful temple scenery by the river.

In the evening, visitors can also rent a boat to watch the fireflies along the river.
