Wat Chom Khiri Nak Phrot or Wat Khao is located on top of Buat Nak Mountain, between the Chiraprawat Camp and the Dechatiwong Bridge. From the heights, you can view the scenic Chao Phraya River as well as Dejativong Bridge, the first bridge to span the Chao Phraya River and another newly built bridge.

According to legend, the Burmese army built this temple to show their respect for Buddhism following the second destruction of the Ayuttaya Kingdom.

The most interesting objects here are a replica of the Lord Buddha’s Footprint and a convocation hall that locals call “Bot Thewada Sang”, said to be built by angels for its seemingly unlimited capacity.
