Nakhon Sawan, or Paknam Pho, is a city in central-Northern Thailand. This capital city of Nakhon Sawan Province’s name literally translates to “the Heavenly City”. Located 240 km from Bangkok, Nakhon Sawan lies at the meeting point of the Ping and Nan Rivers.

The city has many scenic attractions and is noted for its large marsh area “Bung Boraphet”.
