Staged once a month, Meliá Koh Samui’s Sunday Brunch has become a hugely popular affair with the locals and expats alike on Koh Samui island. Drawing upon the resort’s warm and sunny Spanish hospitality and famed gastronomy, the brunch affair’s menu brims with all sorts of indulgent options at a series of stations.
The ‘Raw Bar’ dishes out imported French oysters, poached Koh Samui tiger prawns and blue crabs, steamed Surat Thani mussels. ‘Carving’, ‘Charcoal Grill from our Josper Oven’, ‘Japanese’ and ‘Artisan Pasta’ stations serve the likes of ‘provoleta with oregano and chili flakes’, ‘birria taco with cheese, cilantro and consommé’, ‘seabass ceviche with sweet potato, red onion and cilantro’, ‘classic cassoulet’, ‘Spanish fideuà’, ‘grain fed Australian beef striploin’, stuffed lamb leg with apricot, ‘nigiri sushi’, ‘black truffle ravioli’ respectively.
In addition to a ‘Wellbeing by Melia’ section with healthy dishes such as ‘quinoa salad with beetroot, broccoli and pumpkin’, the extensive brunch menu is rounded out with vast selections of artisan charcuterie, imported cheeses and not to miss ‘leche frita with chocolate sauce’ from live dessert station.
