Bang Pa-In Royal Palace

Phra Thinang Wehart Chamrun, meaning Heavenly Light was built in Chinese style. The two story residence was gifted to King Chulalongkorn by the equivalent of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in 1889.

The palace is also home to a very impressive sculpture of a dragon which was hand carved from camel bone. This is a beautiful building full of fine decorations, art and Chinese furniture.
