Key features include custom-designed structural trees, a maze in the entrance era and unique bathroom ‘observatories’ overlooking the city.
According to Rohit Sachdev, Managing Director of Soho Hospitality, the rooftop bar and restaurant is “an abstract art installation of a park experience with a captivating bird’s eye view of Bangkok.” Guests enter via an encapsulated vertical garden and approach the bar through a completely landscaped reception area, with a combination of grass covered walls, organic vines and a maze.
Five sculptured steel trees decorate the main lounge, their plate acrylic leaves reflecting the city lights, touching upon the artistic sensibilities of the bar’s patrons and providing an opportunity for them to be challenged and surprised or interrupted in a delightful way. Potted plants and grass areas throughout the bar contribute to the sense of the outdoors while the soft glow from the large heritage lanterns creates a warm, ambience.
